Senior Account Executive

 

Job Description

This position is responsible for the origination and management of consumer-based advertiser accounts – specifically, developing marketing campaigns for companies either selling products or generating leads for services on a performance (CPA) basis. Candidate should have at least one year experience as an account representative in a sales capacity, either online media or traditional media, and excellent communication skills. The ideal candidate is an intelligent, motivated, team player and expected to be adept at prospecting, negotiating, communicating, and managing accounts in a high-paced but fun environment.

 

  • Originate business from advertisers and manage those accounts/campaigns
  • Track campaign performance through the partner network of W4
  • Work with internal creative development to build the best possible offers for W4 affiliates
  • Communicate effectively with affiliate managers and your advertisers in order to proactively service their needs and the needs of W4 publishers.

 

Desired Skills & Experience

  • At least 1 year of experience working as an account executive/account manager in a sales capacity, preferably in media
  • Go-getter and self-starter with proven closing, communication, negotiation, and management skills and an ability to schmooze small companies to Fortune 500 companies.
  • Understanding of online advertising principles.
  • Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
  • Strong aptitude with MS Office products including Excel and PowerPoint.

Senior Affiliate Manager

 

Senior Affiliate Manager is responsible for managing the day-to-day activities involved with affiliate publishing of W4 advertising campaigns. He/she will work closely with the Affiliate Director, Sales Team and Management to ensure success for both the affiliate and advertiser.

 

Job description:

  • Monitor affiliate activity, analyze performance, identify areas of improvement, and recommend ways to increase affiliate-generated revenues.
  • Maintain high level of communication with affiliates, recommend new campaigns for affiliates and provide performance feedback to advertiser  team
  • Supply creative packages, links and reporting to affiliates as needed
  • Communicate and monitor compliance or brand guidelines in affiliate channel
  • Proactively monitor traffic sources on all campaigns
  • Recruit new affiliates through research, referrals and other avenues
  • Set and manage monthly, quarterly and annual goals for revenue growth
  • Represent W4 at industry conferences
  • Manage top tier accounts and develop affiliate contact management strategy
  • Teach and mentor junior level team members on affiliate marketing

Internal Media Buyer – Experience Needed

 

Job description:

The Internal Media Buyer is responsible for the coordination of digital direct response campaigns from start to finish with the objective of managing many profitable placements across multiple verticals and traffic channels. Daily tasks include creating marketing assets in coordination with account reps and creative team, upload campaigns to traffic sources, optimize campaigns, data and demographic analysis, information gathering, reconciling records, and manage special projects. This position holds the opportunity and goal to build and manage a team of internal media buyers to become a major source of revenue and strategic value for W4.

 

Responsibilities:

  • Communicate with online traffic sources, establishing relationships for direct display placements
  • Research and pull new offers from our internal system
  • Upload campaigns into Google and other RTB platforms
  • Analyze data and provide reports to management team
  • Optimizing keywords, keyword researching for search channels for building a new campaign
  • Purchase traffic from major display networks
  • Interface with creative department and programming team
  • Contacting new traffic channels and prospect new business opportunities
  • Manage additional projects and work assignments, as requested by management

Affiliate Director

 

Job description:

W4 LLC is seeking an outgoing, analytical and incredibly organized Affiliate Director that loves to spearhead traffic initiatives, beat the competition and make publishers happy while doing it! If you have a passion for motivating and inspiring others through your stellar means of communication and leadership, then this just might be the position for you. The ideal candidate would join our management team in our Santa Monica office, understanding that management is much like coaching. The coach may not always be the star player, but the coach can make or break a team’s success, and most certainly lead a team to stardom. This is a full-time position. As an Affiliate Director, you will be a part of a team of Affiliate Director’s that lead W4’s affiliate management team – managing existing relationships, developing new partnerships, tracking campaign performance, fulfilling budgets, matching publisher inventory to advertise campaigns and optimizing partners for both quality and profitability.

Ideal candidates will be detail oriented, methodical, quick learners, a team player, possess great communication and negotiation skills, and have at least four years of experience in affiliate marketing, with at least two years in affiliate management. Applicants must be motivated, professional and have excellent time management skills. Proficiency in Microsoft Excel is a must as data will be analyzed for information regarding industry trends, optimization of campaigns and scaling of volume to maximize revenue.

 

Responsibilities include:

  • Identify, recruit and evaluate potential affiliates and network partners
  • Build and maintain strong partner relationships
  • Monitor publisher traffic performance levels
  • Monitoring of publisher base to ensure only quality partners are actively promoting W4 campaigns
  • Participate in higher level discussions with Sales Directors
  • Work closely with more junior members on strategic, high-profile publisher accounts
  • Actively recruit new publishing partners for W4
  • Train and educate existing affiliate management team members
  • Provide guidance regarding specific tasks and inquiries from team members

  • Audit, review and analyze reports for accuracy and potential optimizations
  • Recommend campaign optimizations to meet objectives and performance goals
  • Analyze pertinent data such as: CPL, CPM, EPC’s, lead quality and ROI
  • Maintain level of familiarity with all aspects of accounts – including marketing methods
  • Conduct research on industry and market trends, potential clients, and new networks
  • Attend meetings and conferences as necessary
  • Uphold and execute compliance documentation and procedures
  • Lead by example and act as a mentor for the more junior team members

 

Qualifications:

  • BA/BS degree from 4-year university required
  • Minimum 4 years of affiliate marketing and 2 years of affiliate management experience required
  • Familiarity with traffic channels including email, display, social, PPV, search, mobile, etc
