Account Executive

 

Job Description

This position is responsible for the origination and management of consumer-based advertiser accounts – specifically, developing marketing campaigns for companies either selling products or generating leads for services on a performance (CPA) basis. Candidate should have at least one year experience as an account representative in a sales capacity, either online media or traditional media, and excellent communication skills. The ideal candidate is an intelligent, motivated, team player and expected to be adept at prospecting, negotiating, communicating, and managing accounts in a high-paced but fun environment.

 

  • Originate business from advertisers and manage those accounts/campaigns
  • Track campaign performance through the partner network of w4
  • Work with internal creative development to build the best possible offers for w4 affiliates
  • Communicate effectively with affiliate managers and your advertisers in order to proactively service their needs and the needs of w4 publishers.

 

Desired Skills & Experience

  • At least 1 year of experience working as an account executive/account manager in a sales capacity, preferably in media
  • Go-getter and self-starter with proven closing, communication, negotiation, and management skills and an ability to schmooze small companies to Fortune 500 companies.
  • Understanding of online advertising principles.
  • Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
  • Strong aptitude with MS Office products including Excel and Power Point.

Senior Affiliate Manager

 

Senior Affiliate Manager is responsible for managing the day-to-day activities involved with affiliate publishing of W4 advertising campaigns. He/she will work closely with the Affiliate Director, Sales Team and Management to ensure success for both the affiliate and advertiser.

 

Job description:

  • Monitor affiliate activity, analyze performance, identify areas of improvement, and recommend ways to increase affiliate-generated revenues.
  • Maintain high level of communication with affiliates, recommend new campaigns for affiliates and provide performance feedback to advertiser  team
  • Supply creative packages, links and reporting to affiliates as needed
  • Communicate and monitor compliance or brand guidelines in affiliate channel
  • Proactively monitor traffic sources on all campaigns
  • Recruit new affiliates through research, referrals and other avenues
  • Set and manage monthly, quarterly and annual goals for revenue growth
  • Represent W4 at industry conferences
  • Manage top tier accounts and develop affiliate contact management strategy
  • Teach and mentor junior level team members on affiliate marketing

Internal Media Buyer – Experience Needed

 

Job description:

The Internal Media Buyer is responsible for the coordination of digital direct response campaigns from start to finish with the objective of managing many profitable placements across multiple verticals and traffic channels. Daily tasks include creating marketing assets in coordination with account reps and creative team, upload campaigns to traffic sources, optimize campaigns, data and demographic analysis, information gathering, reconciling records, and manage special projects. This position holds the opportunity and goal to build and manage a team of internal media buyers to become a major source of revenue and strategic value for W4.

 

Responsibilities:

  • Communicate with online traffic sources, establishing relationships for direct display placements
  • Research and pull new offers from our internal system
  • Upload campaigns into Google and other RTB platforms
  • Analyze data and provide reports to management team
  • Optimizing keywords, keyword researching for search channels for building a new campaign
  • Purchase traffic from major display networks
  • Interface with creative department and programming team
  • Contacting new traffic channels and prospect new business opportunities
  • Manage additional projects and work assignments, as requested by management

 

Qualifications:

Benefits:

The standard company health, dental, Life, AD&D & LTD insurance coverage are supplied per company policy, with an eligibility date of the 1st of the month following 60 days of employment. In addition, you will also be eligible to participate in our 401K plan after 90 days of employment.
Vacation & Sick Days: During the employment period, you will be entitled to 10 days of paid vacation and up to 8.66 sick days each calendar year pro-rata starting from the date your employment which is accrued on a per pay period basis. This is in addition to regular company holidays.

Affiliate Operations Coordinator

The successful candidate will be responsible for providing key operational, analytical, and administrative support for the Affiliate Management department and will report directly to the Affiliate Director. Key responsibilities include interviewing and vetting all incoming affiliate applications, providing the Affiliate Director with daily, weekly, and monthly department performance reports, and facilitating communication and feedback between departments. The individual must be a self-starter while taking full ownership of their areas of responsibility. Attention to detail and strong communication is an absolute must. This role provides ample room for growth and an opportunity to continually mold the position based on the candidate’s on-the-job feedback and recommendations.

 

Responsibilities:

  • Conduct phone interviews on all incoming affiliate applications (domestic and international) and recommend application approval/denial based on the information gathered
  • Provide the Affiliate Director with daily, weekly, and monthly department performance reports
  • Answer, field, and direct incoming calls and inquiries to the proper department
  • Assist the Affiliate Management team through various operational and administrative tasks, such as gathering data and updates, upkeep of interdepartmental documents, data entry, report analysis, and follow-up on leads/projects.

 

Qualifications:

  • Naturally inquisitive and comfortable pressing for more details; ability to extract as much information as possible from people who may not be telling you the whole story

Account Coordinator

 

Job description:

The administrative support for the Account Executives is a vital component of the W4 sales team. The Account Coordinator will be responsible for the account coordination and management of their Account Executives’ book of business. Daily tasks include data entry, information gathering, reconciling records, pulling reports and analyzing data in addition to tracking progress of sales assignments and pipeline on a daily, weekly and monthly basis.

 

Provide Support:

  • Manage administrative upkeep of advertiser accounts
  • Facilitate constant movement of a campaign through the pipeline from start to finish
  • Reconcile stats and payments for escalated accounts; resolve minor invoice issues
  • Assist Account Executives with lead funnel, campaign approvals, tracking issues, and insertion orders
  • Coordinate creative development with internal design team
  • Be the alternative point-of-contact for Account Executives’ accounts

 

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree
  • Must have strong, proven aptitude and experience within Microsoft Excel
  • Strong people/customer service skills
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Able to read and follow detailed instructions
  • Proven ability to handle multiple tasks and meet deadlines with self-paced organizational skills
  • Previous experience supporting sales teams and high-level customers would be a plus
